Before there was a world, there was only chaos. Pangu emerged from the primordial egg and separated the heavens from the earth, holding them apart for thousands of years so that order could exist. When his work was finally complete, his body became the world itself—his breath became wind, his blood became rivers, his bones became mountains, and his eyes became the Sun and Moon.
